I've always had the need to save moments in time through words, though I might not have realized it until much later. So I have, in a sense, been a writer for about as long as I've been able to put together a full sentence. With the publication of my first novel, I'm finally bringing this need into something tangible and recognizable. I was honored when Black Tree was awarded a runner-up position in the 2016 Shelf Unbound Best Indie Book Competition. In 2019, I published Silence and Boldness: Finding Freedom through Trust, which is the story of my journey as a person.
Though I was born in California, I've lived most of my life in Arizona and now consider it home. In 2013, I graduated summa cum laude from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University with a B.A. in English literature.
I currently live in central Arizona. When I'm not writing, I enjoy antiquing, attempting to paint, and hiking or otherwise enjoying the scenery of this beautiful state.
